We decided to hire a professional to do the work for us and hope for the best. We knew it would be so much easier even if it would end up costing us more. Sometimes it’s worth the extra money.
The result? We made the right decision. Showings took place for just 4 days and then our house was sold. Not only that, but we received a generous offer that greatly exceeded our expectations! So, in our case, it was a good idea to hire a professional to take care of things.
But we didn’t just settle for any agent. We interviewed two agents before we made our choice. We researched carefully and found a highly reputable, experienced individual who we knew we could trust to get the job done. And he didn’t let us down.
Selling your home is a big deal and it is important that you are confident in the person who is representing you. If you choose to sell through a real estate agent, be sure to find someone who is going to go the extra mile for you. The great thing about our agent was that he was willing to give out more of the commission to the buyer’s agent and take less for himself, making it a more attractive property. Most buyers these days use a buyer’s agent to help them when they are looking for a home and buyer’s agents are more likely to bring their client’s to homes where they can get the most commission.
By taking the advice of our agent and agreeing to an attractive asking price, he was able to sell our home very quickly and efficiently, and he brought in prospective buyers that would have never looked at our house if we had tried to sell it privately. I have no doubt that we made the right decision by hiring a real estate agent. It was easy, virtually stress-free, and financially rewarding.
