Today is the last day of 2010! It’s really hard to believe that 2010 has come and gone so quickly. Now is the time to reflect on last year’s successes and to plan ahead for next year. What do you want to achieve in 2011? What are your financial goals?
Picture in your mind what you want the next year to look like. Then, write down ways you plan to make sure these things happen. In order to ensure that you can meet your goals, you need to start early on in the year.
I am not talking about New Year’s Resolutions – you know, those things that you forget all about after the first week of January. I am talking about setting concrete financial goals and making sure that you set up a savings plan so that you can do all that you have your heart set on.
My husband and I are planning on taking some really big risks in 2011. We plan to go places we’ve never gone before, and most people we have told about our plans think we are crazy. I will write more about our adventures throughout this coming year, and I look forward to seeing how everything goes.
I wish you all the best for this coming year and thanks for joining me on this journey called life. Happy New Year!
